MARC WENIG
[Professional fire-starter.]
It started with a hoverboard. Watching Back to the Future as a kid sparked my fascination with technology, future thinking, and innovation — and it never let go.
Taught myself to code, survived business school, picked up design thinking, and now I create spaces where strangers become collaborators. Because the best ideas happen when the right people meet at the right moment.
ABOUT
Collaboration is our oldest technology.
We didn't get here by putting ourselves first. We got here because we sat down and started talking. We shared fish. Fire. Frustration. Ideas. And slowly, trust began to form.
It's how humans have always made progress: Not by knowing more — but by being willing to figure it out together.
I believe growth happens in friction — where different minds meet and spark. That discomfort isn't failure. It's movement. That the best ideas don't appear. They emerge — between people, in shared space and time. And emergence needs something rare: trust.
That's why I create spaces. Not for productivity metrics. Not for control. But for people to meet, connect, and build something that matters.
The world doesn't need more noise. It needs more circles around the fire.

WORK
My mind lives at the intersection of territories that shouldn't theoretically connect but somehow do. This interdisciplinary thinking defines how I approach problems:
- Innovation & entrepreneurship
- Trust as infrastructure
- Open collaboration
- Digital sovereignty
- Art & design
- Nature & history
- Neurobiology & cognition
I take this multidisciplinary perspective and apply it systematically. Currently, this approach shapes my work at General Spaces, where we create environments that prove space design affects how people collaborate and innovate. P15 in Biel is where you'll find me most days, testing these ideas in real time.
But the same thinking applies whether I'm designing physical spaces, digital experiences, or strategic partnerships.
